BNUBS 2023 Alumni Homecoming Event Was Successfully Held

On September 9, Beijing Normal University's "Returning, Still a Young Heart" alumni homecoming event of 2023 was successfully held. The morning commemorative meeting was held in Qiu Jiguan Gymnasium. President Ma Jun, Vice President Zhou Zuoyu and Vice President of Alumni Association Chen Guangju attended the commemorative meeting. Members of Party Committee/President's Office, Alumni Association, Zhuhai Campus Alumni Association and heads of departments attended the conference.



The Scene

In the conference, the nostalgic micro film, the leadership speech, the speech of the alumni representative, the issuance of the class liaison ambassador certificate, the issuance of the Rank Nian flag, the poetry recitation, the quartet, and the singing of the school song were unanimously praised by everyone. More than 1,000 alumni gathered together, consolidating the deep friendship between the School and alumni.

In this commemoration, more than 170 alumni of BNUBS and their families gathered at BNU from all over the world to participate in the homecoming activities to reminisce about the past and share the same memories.

At 1:00 PM, the Alumni Seminar on Quality Development of BNUBS was held in Conference Room 9406 of the JINGSHI HOTEL. Dean Qi Yudong, Associate Party Secretary Han Lili, Li Ani, Alumni Office and more than 40 senior alumni attended the discussion. The meeting was presided over by Associate Secretary Han Lili.



On behalf of the School, President Qi Yudong extended a warm welcome to the returning alumni, and introduced the development of the School in recent years in detail from the aspects of discipline construction, scientific research, personnel training, teaching staff, and international development. Dean Qi said that in the past 40 years, the School's alumni have spread all over the country and abroad, which has formed a beautiful "Business Card" for the School with their contributions and achievements, and he hoped to fully understand the needs of alumni through the symposium, inviting alumni to offer suggestions for the development of the School.

Subsequently, the alumni spoke one by one, sharing their views, thoughts, feelings and understandings from years of life and work experience. The alumni not only put forward the basic quality requirements for graduates from the perspective of employers, put forward feasible suggestions on the diversity of alumni activities, and felt honored and pleased with the rapid development of the School, and expressed their willingness to contribute to the development of the School in all aspects.

Associate Secretary Han Lili thanked the alumni for their continuous attention and valuable opinions on the development and talent training of the School, and said that the conference will be used as a matchmaking meeting and implementation meeting to continue to explore new mechanisms for alumni work, empower alumni, and help the development of the School and students.



Thanks to the platform construction of the Alumni Association, the enthusiastic organization of the staff, the positive response of the alumni and the timely docking and preparation of the School, the activity has received good feedback from the alumni. It is hoped that the alumni can keep close contact with the School and BNU, and work together to create new glory.
